Short summary of current research:
In my current research I am focusing on modified gravity theories, and more specifically, on f(Q) gravity: a theory based on the non-metricity formulation of General Relativity (GR) that arises as a generalization of the Symmetric Teleparallel Equivalent of GR (STEGR). I work with realistic models of neutron stars and my current goals are to study the effect of the usage of different connections on the dynamics, together with their boundary conditions and to find regions of validity and constraints of the theory. I also remain active in my previous research field on gravitational waves from fast-rotating core-collapse supernovae (CCSN), where I focused on developing statistical models suitable for inference in the face of a hypothetical future detection. I have also worked on Ultra Light Bosonic Dark Matter (ULBDM) theories.
