Machine learning for dynamical systems, Neuro-AI.
Short summary of current research:
We are working on machine learning methods for reconstructing dynamical systems from observed time series data, with a current focus on out-of-domain generalization and mathematically tractable generative models. We use these in diverse areas, from physics to neuroscience, for instance for gaining insight into neural computations or understanding disorders of the brain.
