Carolin Kimmig

Carolin Kimmig (nickname Lina) is a doctoral student in the group of Prof. Cornelis Dullemond at the Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics, working on asymmetric structures in protoplanetary disks. A part of her daily work is coming up with approaches to complex scientific problems, both analytically (with theory) and numerically (with simulations). In her free time, she enjoys dancing and sewing, and carries an undying love for elephants.
