Short summary of current research:
Connecting properties (and especially symmetries) at the critical point to differential geometric problems. The geometric problem dictates a space-dependent length scale ruling physical quantities. Apply similar ideas also to non-equilibrium settings: in selected cases one can describe the evolution of a many-body interacting system by a non-interacting one with a time-dependent length scale.
